Members of HOPE-affiliated unions are invited to join labor leaders, elected officials and patient advocates to announce policy prescriptions for the state's care crisis. This action is an imporant next step in ongoing efforts to move lawmakers to adopt proposals that would address unsafe staffing, establish safe patient limits and protect vital health services.

Confirmed speakers include AFT President Randi Weingarten and the chairs of the legislature's Join Committee on Public Health; State Senator Saud Anwar and State Representative Cristin McCarthy Vahey.

AFT National recently released Healthcare Staffing Shortage Tast Force report serves as a blueprint for policies to advocate for in the 2023 session of the Connecticut General Assembly. The event is being organized by AFT Connecticut.

Free parking is available in the adjacent garage (and on-street if at capacity).
